Mentor, as a tradeskill, is something I spoke over with a few of the admins for the game and we added in. It made my character concept really pop, and I'm fond of it.

However, that doesn't mean that how it works now is the way it should work. That is why I'd like to throw it on the table for the consideration of the community in general. Not just as a trade skill, but as a concept.

At the same time, I feel a discussion of how instruction works and how people feel instruction should work are also warranted. This isn't a call for specific changes - I'm sure other people will provide those - but a suggestion that we should give it a few minutes discussion and see if it bears fruit.
