“Here ye, here ye!
The mage Niko was traveling through the farmlands when he was encountered by an aggressive patch of Punkins. Through his quick thinking he cast a command spell on the Punkin King commanding him to kill punkins, who then gave his servants this command. This lead to an array of punkins killing themselves or each other with much fervor and a grizzly spray of seeds.
There was a strange procession in the woods which was encountered by a few groups. The first was lead by Brother Goosetoff who encountered a strange man in the woods named Tyler that was thoroughly convinced that the group was sent by an evil entity. Once beaten he summoned armor and gained more abilities. Defeated once again he turned into something much larger to hopefully defeat the group, but was cast down by their teamwork. Though leaving Brother Goosetoff seriously injured.
The second encounter was with a small doughy man that tried to sell pre-baked goods. Attacked by Sir Volkov, the doughy man slowly dispatched of him laughing away the strikes that would kill a normal man. Once Growl got a hold of it he paraded it through town not caring really who it hit in the way. His thoughts were probably that people should have moved. But they baked the small man in a smithery until he was turned into a delicious pastry.
The third and last of these strange encounters was with a near dragon sized turkey that was hidden way to well in the woods. It threw fire from its mouth in an attempt to kill the oncoming party lead by Yurick Hunt. His party dispatched the “turdragon” with near ease and was able to bring home plenty of food for the upcoming winter.
Yurick was leading a small party through the woods where they came across a small ghostly child running through the woods and disappearing. This happened several times as they followed the wisps through the woods. The wisps lead them to a tree that was decorated in dead bodies. It was guarded by an undead construct that rooted the heros to the ground as the mouth on the ground rose up to engulf them. Ivan’s wood elf farmer leaped into action, distracting the monster from the party saving them through some keen fighting and tactics most slaves aren’t known for.
A local man, John Ringling, was slain by a unicorn. He guided Yurik Hunt’s party through the woods claiming that the unicorn was looking for a virgin. Once he was at the edge of the woods he placed the paladin Makar on a stump assuming that he was a virgin. Instead Ringling was impaled on a horn while Alik Aleks the local general goods merchant was thrown from the unicorn’s back. After killing the impure it placed a kiss on Yurik’s forehead, marking him as a pure soul.
A group of shadow monsters were encountered in the southern forest. They were very similar to what Sir Ivan and Squire Growl described fighting in the underdark a few months back.
A new alchemist came into town during lunchtime. He quickly began selling his wares, especially with that special on ingested antidotes.
A party led by Guard Captain Yurick consisting of Karsan, Makar, Cein, and Ivan’s farmer went out to retrieve the components for restoring the magic in the resurrection stone. They were successful in their efforts, and the stone should supposedly be up and working again. Anyone wanna kill themselves to test it? I’ll give ya a silver for it.
Sir Wladimir orders that nobody approach the iceberg without authorization, as it has been deemed too dangerous.
A strange cat-like creature was seen stalking in the farmlands. It was swiftly dispatched by Makar.
A grenade went off at the end of the Harvest Festival. Sir Archmage Mikhail was the sole recipient of the fiery explosion after having stepped on the grenade. Luckily, he is always prepared for an attack and had a fire shield on him. That being said, there is a warrant for a Kobold named “Meek”, as he is believed to be the only person capable of having made and planted said grenade.
Our local Larry has been up to no good as usual lately. He began with abandoning his duties of working on the wall, which led to him vandalising the wall, tormenting townsfolk, and lastly leaving the town guard puzzled after “escaping” prison. He has now been publicly denounced as a deserter, and any information on his whereabouts should be reported to the guard at once.
Oh, and the last few townsfolk who had gone missing have finally returned. Huzzah!”
